Ambition is Ambassador Cruise Line’s second UK ship: a mid-size 1999 ship that joined the line in 2023 after a Costa past, with room for about 1,200 guests. She is aimed at no-fly British adults who want enrichment, theatre and traditional dining. She is not a family megaship.

Main waiter-service restaurants and a buffet cover the included hours. Specialty dining is the paid layer — among them a steak-style room and other extras that can shift by sailing. Drink packages sit outside the cruise — price those before you book.

Evenings run theatre productions, lounge acts, quizzes and destination speakers, with dance lounges after the show. Daytime is a modest pool deck, spa and gym, café corners and a quieter library culture. The passenger mix skews adult.
