Restaurants, Red Room, The Manor

Brilliant Lady is Virgin Voyages’ fourth Lady-class ship, delivered in 2025: about 2,770 sailors at double occupancy, adults-only (18+), tip-inclusive dining across a deep restaurant list, and the same RockStar-meets-boutique energy as Scarlet, Valiant and Resilient Lady. Virgin call their guests sailors — you will see that word all over the ship. She is the restaurant-led alternative when you do not want kids’ clubs or formal nights.

Dining is the headline. Pink Agave, Razzle Dazzle and Extra Virgin sit among the included eateries on most bookings, with Gunbae and The Galley filling louder and casual hours. On deck: Pool Club energy, Athletic Club for workouts, and a sun-deck habit built for adults. There is no Camp Ocean and no waterpark family zone.

Evenings run from Red Room productions to The Manor nightlife and Scarlet Night. Daytime is Athletic Club, the pool and a restaurant map you plan like a city break. She is adults-only Virgin at full strength — tip-inclusive restaurants, no children, and a week built around booking the tables you actually want.

If you want tip-inclusive restaurants, Red Room nights and The Manor after dark with no children aboard, Brilliant Lady is Virgin’s formula at full strength.

On board

Restaurants, Red Room, Pool Club

  1. 01

    Eat across the ship

Virgin’s pitch is restaurants, not a single main dining room — tip-inclusive dining is part of the brand on most bookings. Among them Pink Agave, Razzle Dazzle, Extra Virgin, Gunbae and The Galley. Reserve popular rooms early on sea days; sailors notice the same 19:30 slot. Confirm what your booking includes before you assume every door is walk-up.

  2. 02

    Red Room and The Manor

The Red Room is Brilliant Lady’s transformational theatre — recent seasons have featured original productions such as Out of Time, Duel Reality and Red Hot rather than a licensed Broadway or West End title. The Manor is the late room for cabaret, dancing and ticketed party nights. Programme titles change by season, so treat any named show as current-season colour.

  3. 03

    Deck and Athletic Club

Pool Club anchors outdoor social hours; Athletic Club covers serious gym time and classes. Sun decks are built for adults — no children’s splash zones competing for loungers. There is no family waterpark; the outdoor plan is pool, workout and a sundeck you might actually use.

  4. 04

    Spa and Square

The spa runs a full treatment and thermal menu sold as packages or single bookings. Square is the social heart for daytime coffee and evening meet-ups. Retail and spa spends sit outside the cruise. RockStar suites unlock quieter perks if you booked them — nicer, not a second ship.

  5. 05

    Adults only

No guests under 18 — that is the hard rule and the product. Brilliant Lady is for couples and friend groups who want restaurant-led dining, nightlife and stylish public rooms without formal nights or children’s clubs. Multi-gen holidays with children should choose P&O, Royal or Carnival instead.

Pink Agave

Mexican restaurant on Virgin’s tip-inclusive dining map for most bookings — turn up and eat without a separate cover on typical sailings. Book ahead on sea days if that table is your plan.

Razzle Dazzle

Plant-forward and theatrical dining — part of Virgin’s included restaurant spread on typical bookings. More of an occasion mood than The Galley. Reserve early if that room is your treat.

Extra Virgin

Italian night usually included on most Virgin bookings — proper restaurant energy without a separate cover on typical sailings. Book early on sea days.

Gunbae

Korean BBQ social dining — shared grills and a louder table than Extra Virgin. Typically in the restaurant map without a separate cover on typical bookings. Ideal if you want spectacle with dinner.

The Galley

Casual food hall for grazing between restaurants and Pool Club. Largely included on typical Virgin bookings. Best for low-fuss bites when you do not want a full restaurant sitting.

The Manor

Nightclub and party room — cabaret, late sets and ticketed evenings such as Up with a Twist when programmed. Some nights carry a ticket; confirm your sailing. Best when you want the night to keep going after Red Room.

Redemption / shows

Red Room transformational theatre — recent seasons have featured originals such as Out of Time, Duel Reality and Red Hot. Titles change by season; check your sailing. Included once aboard; arrive early for a good seat.

Athletic Club

Serious gym and classes for adults who travel to move. Included access on typical bookings; some premium classes may cost extra. Best when Athletic Club is part of your daily plan.

Pool Club

Open-deck social pool built for adults — no children’s splash zones. Included outdoor hub; loungers go early on warm sea days.

Spa

Full treatment and thermal menu sold as packages or single bookings — not included in the simple cruise. A calmer daytime reset than Pool Club. Book ahead on sea days.

Fit

Who she is for

  • Adults who want Virgin’s restaurant-led, tip-inclusive style and do not need a kids’ programme — Lady-class dining depth, Red Room shows and The Manor after dark. Virgin call their guests sailors.
  • Couples and friend groups who prefer nightlife and stylish public rooms to formal nights, and who will actually reserve Pink Agave, Gunbae or Extra Virgin rather than default to one room all week.
  • Not for families with children under 18 — they cannot sail. Choose P&O, Royal or Carnival for multi-gen holidays.

Where

Where Brilliant Lady tends to go

Lady-class ships rotate through Caribbean, Mediterranean, short breaks and repositioning. Brilliant’s exact bases settle as the newest sister joins the fleet. Routes shift year to year.

Treat this as the ship’s range, not a fixed timetable. When this guide is public, sailings with two or more UK agent prices will sit at the bottom.

Before you book

What the brochure skips

  • Spa treatments, some Manor tickets, premium athletic classes and most shore tours sit outside the cruise. Price the holiday as the cruise plus what you will actually buy beyond tip-inclusive dining.
  • Compare UK agents on the same sailing — same ship, same date, cruise-only, two guests. The hero price should be the lowest bookable one, not the first logo you recognise.
