The ship
Solstice row, Lawn Club polish
Celebrity Silhouette (2011) is the fourth Solstice-class ship, with Lawn Club, Murano and Tuscan Grille, and about 2,890 guests. She is a balanced mid-large Celebrity for Europe and warm-water rotations.
Main restaurant and Oceanview Café are included. Specialty nights such as Murano and Tuscan Grille carry a cover. Spa thermal access is typically extra.
Evenings centre on the main theatre and Martini Bar. Daytime is Lawn Club, pools and spa. She is familiar Solstice polish — not Edge, and not a quiet traditional ship.
Silhouette is Solstice row: Lawn Club, Murano or Tuscan Grille, and a mid-large plan that still feels learnable.
On board
Restaurants, shows, the rest
- 01
Dining
Main restaurant and Oceanview Café are included. Specialty nights worth booking early include Murano and Tuscan Grille, with sushi or a third concept among the lighter paid options. Sea-day specialty tables go first. Drink packages sit outside the simple cruise.
- 02
Theatre and evenings
The main theatre runs Celebrity production shows and guest acts. Programmes change by season — treat any named show as current-season colour. Martini Bar and lounges cover the after-show loop. Book centre seats on night one if the headline matters.
- 03
After dark
Martini Bar, lounges and the casino carry the post-show wander. Drink packages and premium pours sit outside the cruise. Expect a smarter dress-code energy than Fun Ships, still not black-tie every night.
- 04
Lawn Club, pools and spa
Lawn Club real grass, the main pools and the spa take daytime hours. Thermal suite access is typically extra. Grab loungers early on warm sea days. There is no waterpark here — the outdoor plan is lawn, pools and a spa you might actually use.
- 05
AquaClass, kids and fit
AquaClass and Concierge keys unlock Blu or quieter perks when you booked them. Camp at Sea covers children on family sailings. Couples and adult groups get the most from Solstice; splash-park families may prefer a Fun Ship.
Murano
Murano is Celebrity’s fine-dining specialty and one of the pricier covers on Celebrity Silhouette. Quieter and more dressed-up than Oceanview Café. Go here for a splurge dinner. Book early on sea days.
Tuscan Grille
Tuscan Grille is the Italian steak-and-trattoria specialty with a cover. Mid-to-upper spend versus the included rooms. Book early on sea days if Italian is your treat night.
Specialty concept
The rotating or third specialty concept is a paid night — check your sailing for the exact room. Mid-spend specialty: less than Murano, more of an occasion than the buffet.
Sushi bar
The sushi bar is a lighter specialty night than Murano. Cover or à-la-carte pricing applies. Best when you want precision plates rather than a long fine-dining evening.
Oceanview Café
Oceanview Café is the included buffet and casual core on Celebrity Silhouette. Self-serve without a cover. Best for breakfasts, port mornings and low-fuss lunches.
Main restaurant
The main restaurant is the included plated dining room for most evenings. Proper Celebrity service without a cover. Best for most nights if you are not chasing specialty rooms.
Main theatre
The main theatre houses Celebrity Silhouette’s production nights — cruise-stage spectacle, not a West End transfer. Titles change by season, so check your sailing. Centre seats on night one if the headline matters.
Lawn Club
Lawn Club is the real-grass top deck — bowls, events and fresh air. Included once aboard for most open hours. A calmer daytime reset than the pool deck when the lawn is open.
Martini Bar
Martini Bar is the after-dinner cocktail hub with a louder social energy than the observation lounges. Drinks sit outside the simple cruise. Best when you want the evening to keep going after the show.
Spa
Spa treatments and thermal access are typically extras — not included in the simple cruise. Book ahead on sea days if a massage or thermal pass is your plan.
Fit
Who she is for
- Couples and adult groups who want Celebrity mid-size polish — Lawn Club grass underfoot, Murano or Tuscan Grille, and Martini Bar evenings.
- Guests who will budget for one or two specialty nights plus drinks, and who like a smarter pace than Fun Ship volume.
- Not the ship if you want Edge-class Magic Carpet design, waterpark thrills, or quiet traditional British formal dining every night.
Where
Where Silhouette tends to go
Europe and Caribbean rotations feature often; confirm Celebrity’s current plan.
Treat this as the ship’s range, not a fixed timetable. When this guide is public, sailings with two or more UK agent prices will sit at the bottom.
Before you book
What the brochure skips
- Specialty dining, drink packages, spa thermal access and Wi-Fi sit outside the simple cruise on most Celebrity bookings. Price the week as the cruise plus what you will actually buy.
- Compare UK agents on the same Silhouette sailing — same ship, same date, cruise-only, two guests. The hero price should be the lowest bookable one, not the first logo you recognise.
