The ship
Lead Solstice: Lawn Club and Blu
Celebrity Solstice (2008, with a planned 2026 refit) is the lead Solstice-class ship: Lawn Club real grass, Blu for AquaClass, Solstice Theatre and about 2,850 guests. She set the template for the Solstice family.
Oceanview Café and main dining cover included hours. Specialty nights such as Murano, Tuscan Grille and Silk Harvest carry covers; Blu serves AquaClass guests. Persian Garden thermal access is typically extra.
Evenings run through Solstice Theatre and Ensemble Lounge. Daytime is Lawn Club, pools and the spa. She is lead Solstice living — grown-up mid-size Celebrity without Edge-scale design tricks.
If you want Lawn Club, Blu and Solstice Theatre on a mid-size modern-luxury map, Solstice is the class namesake.
On board
Restaurants, shows, the rest
- 01
Dining
Oceanview Café and main dining cover included hours. Specialty nights such as Murano, Tuscan Grille and Silk Harvest carry covers; Blu serves AquaClass guests. Reserve specialty on embarkation — sea-day slots go first.
- 02
Theatre and evenings
The main theatre runs Celebrity production shows and guest acts. Programmes change by season — treat any named show as current-season colour. Martini Bar and lounges cover the after-show loop. Book centre seats on night one if the headline matters.
- 03
After dark
Martini Bar, lounges and the casino carry the post-show wander. Drink packages and premium pours sit outside the cruise. Expect a smarter dress-code energy than Fun Ships, still not black-tie every night.
- 04
Lawn Club, pools and spa
Lawn Club real grass, the main pools and the spa take daytime hours. Thermal suite access is typically extra. Grab loungers early on warm sea days. There is no waterpark here — the outdoor plan is lawn, pools and a spa you might actually use.
- 05
AquaClass, kids and fit
AquaClass and Concierge keys unlock Blu or quieter perks when you booked them. Camp at Sea covers children on family sailings. Couples and adult groups get the most from Solstice; splash-park families may prefer a Fun Ship.
Murano
Murano is Celebrity’s fine-dining specialty and one of the pricier covers on Celebrity Solstice. Quieter and more dressed-up than Oceanview Café. Go here for a splurge dinner. Book early on sea days.
Tuscan Grille
Tuscan Grille is the Italian steak-and-trattoria specialty with a cover. Mid-to-upper spend versus the included rooms. Book early on sea days if Italian is your treat night.
Silk Harvest
Silk Harvest is the Asian specialty room — a lighter paid night than Murano. Cover charge applies. Best when you want spice and small plates rather than a long fine-dining evening.
Blu
Blu serves AquaClass guests with a calmer included dining room than the main restaurant. Included if you booked AquaClass — quieter mornings and evenings for that key.
Oceanview Café & MDR
Oceanview Café and the main dining rooms are the included core on Celebrity Solstice. Proper plated or casual plates without a cover. Best for most nights if you are not chasing specialty rooms.
Solstice Theatre
Solstice Theatre houses production shows and guest acts. Cruise-stage spectacle with strong staging, not a permanent West End title residency. Titles change by season — check your sailing. Centre seats on night one if the headline matters.
Ensemble Lounge
Ensemble Lounge is a live-music and cocktail corner for quieter evenings after the theatre. Drinks sit outside the simple cruise. Best when you want conversation and music without Martini Bar volume.
Lawn Club
Lawn Club is the real-grass top deck — bowls, events and fresh air. Included once aboard for most open hours. A calmer daytime reset than the pool deck when the lawn is open.
Persian Garden / spa
Persian Garden thermal suite and spa treatments are extras — not included in the simple cruise. Book ahead on sea days if heat loungers and steam are your plan.
Café al Bacio
Café al Bacio is the specialty coffee and sweet-bite spot — high-street-style drinks that usually cost extra. Best for an afternoon pause between the pool and dinner.
Fit
Who she is for
- Couples and adult groups who want Celebrity mid-size polish — Lawn Club grass underfoot, Murano or Tuscan Grille, and Martini Bar evenings, plus Blu if you booked AquaClass.
- Guests who will budget for one or two specialty nights plus drinks, and who like a smarter pace than Fun Ship volume.
- Not the ship if you want Edge-class Magic Carpet design, waterpark thrills, or quiet traditional British formal dining every night.
Where
Where Solstice tends to go
Celebrity typically programmes her on Alaska, Australia and Pacific and seasonal warm-water runs. Mediterranean seasons appear in the mix. Exact bases shift.
Treat this as the ship’s range, not a fixed timetable. When this guide is public, sailings with two or more UK agent prices will sit at the bottom.
Before you book
What the brochure skips
- Specialty dining, drink packages, spa thermal access and Wi-Fi sit outside the simple cruise on most Celebrity bookings. Price the week as the cruise plus what you will actually buy.
- Compare UK agents on the same Solstice sailing — same ship, same date, cruise-only, two guests. The hero price should be the lowest bookable one, not the first logo you recognise.
