The ship
Oasis neighbourhoods at full Caribbean volume
Harmony of the Seas is the third Oasis-class giant: Central Park, Boardwalk, Royal Promenade and an AquaTheater aft, sized for more than five thousand guests. Built 2016 and Amplification-refitted in 2021, she is the Caribbean machine that taught a generation of UK bookers the neighbourhood idea — park trees midship, Boardwalk fries aft, pool deck up top — without waiting for Icon.
Dining spreads across the park and Boardwalk rather than one corridor. Windjammer and the Main Dining Room sit in the included dining; Boardwalk covers pizza and dogs; Central Park holds Chops Grille and 150 Central Park as steak-and-fine-dining extras, with Italian and Asian specialty rooms on the same map. Most specialties need a reservation on sea days, and Perfect Day at CocoCay days empty the ship early — book the night before if you care Specialty tables include Chops Grille, 150 Central Park and Jamie’s Italian —.
Evenings bring high-dive AquaTheater and production shows in the Royal Theatre. Daytime is Ultimate Abyss, zip line across the Boardwalk, FlowRider, rock wall and the adults-only Solarium. Adventure Ocean fills hard in school holidays. She is Oasis-class at full volume — neighbourhoods, thrills and a long extras list.
If you want Oasis-class thrills — AquaTheater, Ultimate Abyss, Boardwalk — Harmony delivers at full volume.
On board
Neighbourhoods, dining, thrills
- 01
Dining across the park
Main Dining Room and Windjammer buffet cover the included nights and sea-day lunch rush. Boardwalk adds pizza, dogs and casual bites you can grab between AquaTheater shows. Central Park is the specialty tables include Chops Grille, 150 Central Park and Jamie’s Italian —. Almost every specialty sits outside the included dining and books out on sea days; reserve on the app before you sail or on embarkation afternoon. Suite guests with Coastal Kitchen access get a quieter room that is not on the public map. Treat Perfect Day port evenings as half-empty specialty nights — still book, but walk-ups are kinder than on a pure sea day.
- 02
AquaTheater and main stage
The main theatre runs production shows sized for the ship’s guest count. Recent seasons have featured Columbus, The Musical. AquaTheater-style water entertainment fills the splash brief on ships that carry it. Comedy clubs and lounge sets fill gaps between production nights. Entertainment venues worth planning around — among them Royal Theatre, AquaTheater, comedy club and Rising Tide. Book centre or splash-zone seats on night one for the shows you care about — families fill the houses on sea days. Programme titles change by season — treat any named show as current-season colour, not a permanent fixture. Grease closed on Harmony in late 2025; treat any named title as current-season colour, not a permanent Oasis fixture.
- 03
After dark
Rising Tide moves between the Royal Promenade and Central Park with a cocktail crowd that likes the novelty. Schooner Bar does piano nights; the Bionic Bar still draws queues for robot pours (drinks extra). Nightclub, casino and promenade shops cover the after-dinner loop, and Boardwalk stays lively late with soft-serve and people-watching. Drink packages and specialty cocktails sit outside the cruise — price what you will actually drink, not the brochure shot. If you want quieter, Central Park after ten is calmer than the promenade. Programme and featured acts change by season — treat any named show as current-season colour, not a permanent fixture.
- 04
Pools, slides and the Ultimate Abyss
The pool deck carries waterslides, a FlowRider surf simulator and the usual megaship sunbed scramble on sea days. Ultimate Abyss is the dry-slide drop from the top down to Boardwalk — book a slot if queues matter to you. A zip line crosses the Boardwalk canyon for the photo. Vitality Spa and fitness sit midship; Solarium forward is the adults-only retreat with calmer water. There is no Icon-class Category 6 waterpark here — Harmony’s thrills are Oasis classics, refreshed in Amplification, not the newest Icon thrill park.
- 05
Kids, casino, suites
Adventure Ocean and the teen lounges run the youth programme with hours that shift by sea day and port day. The casino and Royal Promenade shops are the adult evening loop once kids are signed in. Suite guests get Coastal Kitchen and concierge perks if you booked the suite or club cabin — quieter dining, not a second ship. Families who will use the neighbourhoods, AquaTheater and the slides get the most from Harmony; quiet traditionalists will feel the Oasis energy in every public room. Programme and featured acts change by season — treat any named show as current-season colour, not a permanent fixture.
150 Central Park
150 Central Park fine dining with a cover — tasting-led and among the highest covers on Oasis. Book early; it fills with guests chasing a dressed-up night. Splurge territory.
Chops Grille
Chops Grille specialty steak with a cover — quieter and more dressed-up than Boardwalk casuals. One of the pricier specialty nights. Go here for a splurge, not a cheap filler.
Jamie’s Italian / Wonderland
Jamie’s Italian or Wonderland specialty with a cover — check which doors your sailing runs. Mid-to-upper paid dining. Book early if that is your treat night.
Boardwalk Dog House & pizza
Boardwalk Dog House, pizza and casual bites. Many items low-cost or in the included dining; some treats extra. Perfect between AquaTheater and park strolls when you do not want a full restaurant.
Windjammer & MDR
Windjammer and Main Dining Room in the included dining — the everyday Oasis meal map. Best for most nights when specialty is saved for one or two evenings.
AquaTheater
AquaTheater high-dive and aquatic shows aft — Harmony’s splash-zone night. Included with the cruise; book or arrive early because the best views go first. Programme changes by season.
Royal Theatre
Royal Theatre for production musicals — recent seasons have featured Columbus, The Musical among house titles. Titles change by season; check your sailing. Grab a centre seat on night one if the headline matters.
Bionic Bar
Bionic Bar robot bartenders on the Promenade. Drinks extra; the novelty is the draw. Fun between dinner and theatre rather than a full evening.
Ultimate Abyss / zip line
Ultimate Abyss slide and zip-line thrills on the active decks. Included once aboard — the queue is the real cost on school-holiday sea days. Best for thrill-seekers; quiet guests look to the Solarium.
Vitality Spa & Solarium
Vitality Spa treatments and Solarium adults-only water. Spa extra; Solarium included calm. Book spa ahead on sea days if heat loungers and steam are your reset — not included in the simple cruise.
Fit
Who she is for
- Families and first-timers who want the full Royal Caribbean theme-park-at-sea brief — Central Park, Boardwalk, AquaTheater and the Amplification thrills — without waiting for an Icon-class sailing or paying Icon-class newness premiums.
- Repeat Oasis guests who already know the neighbourhood map and just want another week in that layout, especially on Florida–Caribbean loops that often include Perfect Day at CocoCay, and who will budget for specialty nights and drinks rather than expect everything in the included dining.
- Not the ship if you want quiet traditional dining, a small footprint you can learn in an hour, or a British crew culture. Choose a mid-size Princess, Holland America or classic P&O ship instead of Oasis scale.
Where
Where Harmony tends to go
Royal Caribbean currently programmes her mainly on Caribbean loops from Florida, often with Perfect Day at CocoCay. European and repositioning seasons have appeared in past years and can return.
Treat this as the ship’s range, not a fixed timetable. When this guide is public, sailings with two or more UK agent prices will sit at the bottom.
Before you book
What the brochure skips
- Oasis extras add up: specialty dining, drink packages, spa, and some thrill reservations. Price the holiday as cruise plus what you will actually buy.
- Compare UK agents on the same sailing — same ship, same date, cruise-only, two sharing. The hero price should be the lowest bookable one, not the first logo you recognise.
