Second Lady — adults-only Virgin at sea

Resilient Lady is Virgin Voyages’ second Lady: adults-only, restaurant hopping largely in the included dining, Red Room and The Plot originals, and a deck plan built for conversation and late nights. Virgin call their guests sailors — you will see that word all over the ship. About 2,700 guests. Sister thinking to Scarlet — no kids, no casino, tip-included soft product.

Dozens of eateries sit largely in the included dining — among them The Galley, Extra Virgin and The Test Kitchen. Pink Agave and other favourites still need reservations on busy weeks. Confirm what your sailing wraps in.

Evenings run through Red Room productions and The Plot’s more intimate sets. Daytime is The Dock and pool decks, The Spa extras, and group fitness. Adults-only by policy — do not book with under-18s.

Resilient is Virgin’s second Lady: restaurant hopping in the included dining, Red Room nights, adults-only calm — still budget spa and fancy pours on top.

Restaurants, Red Room, The Dock

  1. 01

    Restaurant hopping

Most eateries sit in the included dining — among them The Galley, Extra Virgin and The Test Kitchen. Pink Agave and other favourites need reservations on busy weeks. Tip-included soft product; fancy pours and spa still add up. Price drink packages against the nights you will actually use. Claim shade early on warm sea days if a lounger matters to you.

  2. 02

    Red Room and The Plot

Red Room hosts Virgin originals and big-room nights; The Plot is the more intimate house many guests book around. Programme changes by season — check your sailing. Arrive early for the better seats. Book spa or specialty slots on sea days before the popular times vanish. Claim shade early on warm sea days if a lounger matters to you.

  3. 03

    After dark

Bars across the ship cover cocktails and late music at adults-only volume. No casino. Price fancy pours against the nights you will stay up. Claim shade early on warm sea days if a lounger matters to you. Sign kids into clubs early on school-holiday embarkation afternoons. Treat brochure show titles as current-season colour — programmes change.

  4. 04

    The Dock and spa

The Dock and pool decks own daytime. The Spa treatments are extras. Claim shade early on full sea days. Group fitness classes fill the planner. Treat brochure show titles as current-season colour — programmes change. Sign kids into clubs early on school-holiday embarkation afternoons.

  5. 05

    Adults only

Under-18s are not permitted. The guest mix skews couples and friend groups. If you need kids’ clubs, look at a family line instead. Price drink packages against the nights you will actually use. Treat brochure show titles as current-season colour — programmes change. Comfortable shoes help if the promenade or galleria is longer than it looks.

The Test Kitchen

The Test Kitchen is Virgin’s playful tasting room — experiments and sharing plates rather than a classic steak cover. Extra versus The Galley. Best when you want a curious evening, not a traditional formal night.

Gunbae

Gunbae is the paid Asian specialty night on Resilient Lady — a clear step up from the included main rooms. Cover charge applies. Book early on sea days if this is the treat you came for.

Extra Virgin

Extra Virgin is the Italian specialty night — pasta and trattoria plates as a paid evening rather than the included main rooms. Mid-spend specialty: less than the steakhouse, more of an occasion than the buffet. Book early on sea days if Italian is your treat.

The Wake

The Wake is a paid specialty night on Resilient Lady — more of an occasion than the included main restaurants. Cover charge applies; expect a higher spend than buffet or MDR. Book early on sea days if this is your treat evening.

Pink Agave

Pink Agave is a paid specialty night on Resilient Lady — more of an occasion than the included main restaurants. Cover charge applies; expect a higher spend than buffet or MDR. Book early on sea days if this is your treat evening.

Razzle Dazzle

Razzle Dazzle is part of Resilient Lady’s social map — a place guests actually use between meals and shows. Drinks and treats often sit outside the included dining. Best when it matches how you spend an evening ashore.

The Galley

The Galley — the big casual option for breakfast, lunch and low-fuss evenings on Resilient Lady. Included in the included dining and usually the quickest seat on a port morning. Ideal if you prefer self-serve over a long dining-room sitting.

The Plot / theatre

The Plot / theatre is the main house for Resilient Lady’s production nights — cruise-stage spectacle sized for a large ship, not a West End transfer. Titles change by season, so check your sailing. Included with the cruise; grab a centre seat on night one if the headline matters.

The Manor

The Manor is the late room for dancing and louder sets after the main show. Drinks sit outside the simple cruise. Best when you want the night to keep going. A quiet habit many regulars protect on sea days.

Redemption Spa

Redemption Spa sells treatments and thermal-suite access as a day pass or package — not in the simple cruise. A calmer daytime reset than the pool deck. Book ahead on sea days if heat loungers and steam are your plan.

Fit

Who she is for

  • Adults who want Virgin’s restaurant-hopping, tip-included soft product and Red Room nights without kids on board.
  • Couples and friend groups who will use The Dock, group fitness and at least a few reserved restaurants.
  • Not for families — adults-only — and a weak fit if you want formal British Gala culture or casino nights.

Where

Where Resilient tends to go

Mediterranean and Caribbean seasons have featured as Virgin grows the Lady fleet. Confirm the current homeport.

Treat this as the ship’s range, not a fixed timetable. When this guide is public, sailings with two or more UK agent prices will sit at the bottom.

Before you book

What the brochure skips

  • Most food and tips sit in the included dining — still price spa, fancy pours and excursions as extras.
  • Compare UK agents on the same sailing — same ship, same date, cruise-only, two sharing.
