The ship
Adults-only Virgin — restaurants, The Manor, no MDR
Valiant Lady is Virgin Voyages’ second Lady-class ship from 2021: adults-only (no under-18s), tip-inclusive restaurants across a deep list, The Manor nightlife, and the RockStar-meets-boutique brief Scarlet launched. Virgin call their guests sailors — you will see that word all over the ship. About 2,770 guests on a design-forward mid-size — no single main dining room, no kids’ clubs, no apology for either.
Specialty dining is the paid layer: among them Pink Agave, Razzle Dazzle and Gunbae — fuller list on the venue cards. Most restaurants sit in the included dining — you hop rooms through the week rather than claim one table. Reserve the nights you care about early; sea-day tables go first.
Evenings turn on restaurant-hopping without a fixed main dining room, tip-inclusive culture and The Manor after dark. Daytime is Pool Club decks, The Dock and Athletic Club gym classes — social and active rather than waterpark queues. She is Virgin Voyages’ adults-only short-break energy.
If you want Virgin’s adults-only formula — no fixed main dining room, The Manor late, Athletic Club by day — Valiant Lady keeps that promise.

Restaurants, shows, the rest
- 01
Eat across the ship
You will not eat everywhere in a week — highlights include Pink Agave, Razzle Dazzle and Gunbae (fuller set on the venue cards). Most restaurants sit in the included dining — you hop rooms through the week rather than claim one table. Reserve popular rooms on embarkation or before you sail — sea days still fill. Pick deliberately rather than treating the deck plan as a checklist.
- 02
Redemption and The Manor
Redemption / the show room is the centre of Valiant Lady’s show nights. Evenings centre on Virgin original productions in Redemption / show spaces. Treat any named show as current-season colour — the programme changes by season, so check your sailing before you plan the week around one title. Beyond the main house, notable entertainment rooms — among them The Manor — the notable late club venue —, The Square social stages and late parties — are the spaces guests actually plan around, not every bar on the deck plan. Book a centre seat on night one if the headline matters; wandering in rarely beats a reservation on sea days.
- 03
Deck and Athletic Club
Pool Club decks, The Dock social space and the Athletic Club gym with group classes. Daytime is social and active rather than waterpark queues — no Category 6 narrative here. Claim sunbeds early on warm sea days. Classes fill; check the timetable on embarkation. expect Pool Club energy and fitness culture, not slides. Bring kit if you will actually join the Athletic Club sessions.
- 04
Spa and The Square
Spa treatments extra. The Square and design-forward corridors are built for lingering — Virgin sells atmosphere as hard as itineraries. Soft seating, good light and Instagram-era interiors are part of the product. Between spa and Square you get paid calm and free wandering. Dress codes stay stylish-casual rather than formal night mandatory. Linger is the point; racing the ship is not.
- 05
Adults only
No one under 18. That is non-negotiable — they cannot sail. If you need a kids’ club, choose another line. The guest mix is couples and friend groups who want restaurant-led evenings and Manor nightlife. Multi-gen only works if every traveller is 18+. RockStar suites add perks for those who paid up; the ship still shares public energy with the wider adults-only crowd.
Pink Agave
Pink Agave Mexican-led restaurant — in the included dining on Virgin’s always-included dining model. Proper plated evenings without a cover. Best when you want a flavour-led night.
Razzle Dazzle
Razzle Dazzle plant-forward / brasserie energy — in the included dining. Quieter and more design-led than The Galley. Ideal for a plated night with a softer soundtrack.
Extra Virgin
Extra Virgin Italian — in the included dining. Pasta-led occasion dining without specialty maths. Solid when you want an Italian night. Useful for guests who will actually spend time here during the week. Check whether a cover or day pass applies on your sailing.
Gunbae
Gunbae Korean BBQ social tables — in the included dining. Share-and-grill theatre without a cover invoice. Book early if that social night matters.
The Galley
The Galley casual marketplace plates — in the included dining. The quickest seat before a tour. Ideal if you prefer self-serve energy over a long sitting.
The Manor
The Manor concert / show venue — Virgin’s late music house. Included entertainment; drinks extra. Programme changes by season, so check your sailing.
Redemption / shows
Redemption / show spaces for Virgin original productions — treat any named show as current-season colour because the programme changes by season. Included; arrive early for good sight lines.
Athletic Club
Athletic Club gym and classes. Included kit once aboard; some classes may extra. Ideal between brunch and Manor nights when you want to move without pool-club queues.
Pool Club
Pool Club for swim, sun and day social energy. Included once aboard; loungers go early on warm sea days. Adults-only ship — no kids’ club chaos.
Spa
Spa treatments and thermal time as extras. A calmer daytime reset than Pool Club. Book ahead on sea days if heat loungers and steam are your plan.
Fit
Who she is for
- Adults who want Virgin’s restaurant-led, tip-inclusive style — Pink Agave, Extra Virgin, Gunbae, The Galley — and do not need a kids’ programme or fixed MDR.
- Couples and friend groups who prefer The Manor nightlife and design-forward rooms to formal nights, happy to reserve popular restaurants on short cruises.
- Not for families with children under 18 — they cannot sail — or guests wanting classic MDR formality and quiet traditional British mid-size pace.
Where
Where Valiant Lady tends to go
Virgin has programmed Valiant on Mediterranean, Caribbean and Atlantic patterns as the Lady-class network grew. Exact homeports shift with the four-ship fleet.
Treat this as the ship’s range, not a fixed timetable. When this guide is public, sailings with two or more UK agent prices will sit at the bottom.
Before you book
What the brochure skips
- Virgin markets heavily on inclusions; still check Wi-Fi tiers, premium drinks and shore excursions for your sailing. Spa and some experiences are extra.
- Compare UK agents on the same sailing — same ship, same date, cruise-only, two sharing.
